2007-2008学年第一学期07级期末口语考试 英语口语测试评分标准 1、表达内容（4分）：要求内容切题、清楚、简洁，能够理解;语法正确，措辞达意，使用时态合理。 0-1分：表达不完整，内容不清楚；词和语句运用不达意，语法时态错误较多。 2-3分：表达基本完整，内容基本清楚；词语运用基本正确，语法时态表达基本正确。 4分：表达完整准确，内容清楚;词语运用正确，语法时态表达正确、恰当。 2、语音语调（3分）：要求发音基本正确，语调符合一般要求。 0-1分：语音语调不符合要求，错误很多，基本元音发音不正确，难以区分。 2分: 语音语调基本符合要求，有少数错误。 3分: 语音错误很少或几乎没有，语调正确，符合规范。 3、流利程度（3分）：要求表达时基本流畅，停顿较少。 0-1分：几乎没有一句完整表达，语句不连贯。 2分：停顿较少，语句基本连贯流畅。 3分：几乎没有停顿，语句连贯流畅。 英语口语测试题目 (供07级本科使用) Notes: Each student is expected to prepare a brief self-introduction, including name, school or department, major, class. If you like, you can say a few words about your hobby and hometown. (The following topics are given for your preparation for the oral test. During the test, first, teachers will expect a brief introduction from each student and then, a topic will be randomly chosen to test your oral skill. These topics are given below, and students can turn to listening and speaking course book I for help. Some of the topics may be touched upon in reading and writing course book I. )
1. Do you engage yourself in any kinds of sports after class? What ball games do you like? Why? What do you think sports can do for us? 2. Can you describe the climate here in Hanzhong? Are there any differences from your hometown? 3. Where do you usually have your meals, roadside food stall, in the students’ canteen or in the restaurants? What do you think of the food and service offered in the dining hall? What do you usually have for your three meals? What is your favorite dish, drink or food? 4. Do you like traveling ? What places have you ever been to? Describe the place! 5. What is the value of music? Do you like music? What type of music do you like best, Traditional Chinese music or western music, classic or popular? Who is your favorite singer/composer? And why? Can you play any kinds of music instrument? 6. What is your ideal job after graduation? Many university students wish to work in big cities after graduation. What do you think are their reasons to do so? What do you prefer: work in big cities or in small towns? 7. What would you give priority to when buy clothes, price, quality, design, material or brand name? Do you follow fashion? Why or why not? Do you judge other people by appearance? Do you believe in the saying“Clothes make the man”? 8. Do you prefer to withdraw money over the counter or through ATM? Please give some of the advantages and disadvantages of withdrawing money through ATM. (refer to Unit 12 of Book I, listening and speaking course. ) 9. What do you usually do in your spare time? Describe your school life! 10. Talk about the advantages and disadvantages of being a teacher. 11. Do you often eat instant noodles? Do you think instant noodles are good for your health? What, do you think, is a healthy diet? 12. Many students seldom have breakfast. In your mind, what are the main reasons for that? Do you think it is a good habit? Why do you think so? 13. Do you like keeping pets? If yes, what animals have you ever kept as pets? Why? (ask the students if they were to keep pets, what animal would they like to keep as pets? Why? ) 14. Many college students are doing part-time jobs. Have you ever done any part-time jobs? If no, what’s the reason? If yes, what jobs have you done? In what way did the job benefit you? (Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of a part-time job) 15. Modern people all complain that they are living under much stress. And we often hear the students say that they are stressful. Do you think stress is a bad thing? In your opinion, how can you cope with stress? Tell me some ways to relieve/ reduce the stress. 16. What was or is your dream? What are you going to do to realize your dream? What if you failed to realize your dream? What do you think is important in making your dream come true? Topics for Oral Test (供体育艺术本科专业使用) 1．Introduce your name, major, grade and class, your school. 2. What do like to do to relax yourself after class? 3. Talk about your hometown. 4. Talk about your best friends. 5. Talk about one of your teachers you respect most and why. 6. Talk about the sports you like to go in for after class. What sports do for you? 7. Talk about the kinds of music you like to enjoy. 8. Do you like traveling? What can travel bring to us ( or what can traveling do for us?) 9. Where do you usually have for your meals? What is the food like there? 10. What do you think of the life here in Shaanxi University of Technology? Do you enjoy it?
